Day 1: ARRIVAL. MEET AND GREET. TRANSFER TO HOTEL. CHECK IN. OVERNIGH IN HOTEL IN KANDY (B/D)

• En Route visit Pinnawala elephant orphanage The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is a renowned sanctuary located in Pinnawala, Sri Lanka. It was established in 1975 to care for orphaned, injured, or abandoned elephants. The sanctuary provides a safe environment for these elephants to live and breed. Visitors to the orphanage can watch the elephants bathe in the river, feed them, and observe their daily activities. It has become a popular tourist attraction and plays an important role in elephant conservation efforts in Sri Lanka.

• Peradeniya Botanical Garden is a renowned botanical garden located near Kandy in Sri Lanka. The show is often held in the evenings and provides tourists with an entertaining way to experience and appreciate Sri Lanka’s rich heritage. The show is typically held in dedicated cultural centers or auditoriums in Kandy.

Day 2: KANDY -NUWARA ELIYA- KANDY (B/D)

• En Route – Visiting Tea Factory Walk into a traditional factory processing fine Ceylon Tea, a world class brand which boasts of millions of servings each day across the globe. Be mesmerized by the process extending from plucking to processing and be guided by a team of experts who know it by heart! You can enjoy tea plucking sessions at the tea factory with the tea bucket hanging on your neck. After the tea plucking session enjoy the finest Ceylon tea at the tea lounge.
• Description of Nuwara Eliya Nuwara Eliya is a city in the hill country of the Central Province, Sri Lanka. The city is considered to be one of the most important locations for tea cultivation and well known for its cool climate being the coolest area in Sri Lanka. Many of the buildings have still preserved features from the colonial period. Many private homes have also maintained their old English-style lawns and gardens. The town wakes up with many activities in April for the Sinhalese and Tamil New year. Main allure during April season includes the motor and horse racing events.
• Evening Leisure at Gregory Lake Park Gregory Lake Park offers a serene escape for evening leisure. Nestled in Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka, it provides a tranquil atmosphere with stunning lake views, lush greenery, and cool mountain air. Visitors can enjoy a peaceful stroll along the lake’s perimeter, relax on the grassy lawns, or take a boat ride while soaking in the beautiful sunset. The park is an ideal spot to unwind and appreciate the natural beauty of the area.

Day 3: KANDY -KITULGALA- COLOMBO (B/D)

• After breakfast at the hotel, proceed on a scenic journey to Colombo, passing through the picturesque town of Kitulgala.
• Enjoy white water rafting at Kitulgala is famous for its adventurous white-water rafting experiences, making it a popular destination for thrill-seekers and nature enthusiasts in Sri Lanka. The rafting usually takes place on the Kelani River, which flows through Kitulgala. The river offers various grades of rapids suitable for both beginners and experienced rafters. Kitulgala is known for its lush rainforest surroundings and stunning natural beauty. As you raft down the river, you’ll pass through scenic landscapes, dense forests, and sometimes even tea plantations.
• Afterwards, head to Colombo for a city tour, exploring its lively streets and key attractions.
• Colombo – a drive through the city taking you to the busy commercial areas as well as the tree-lined residential, Cinnamon Gardens. Visit Fort, the former British administrative center and military garrison, Sea Street – the Goldsmith’s quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area, where is also a Hindu Temple with elaborate stone carvings and the Dutch Church of Wolfendhal dating back to 1749. The former Eye Hospital in Cinnamon Gardens is worth looking at. Also visit the BMICH, see the replica of Avukana Buddha, Colombo Museum & Gangarama temple and the Independence Square.

Day 4: TRANSFER – DEPARTURE (B)

• Enjoy breakfast at your hotel.
• Later, check out from the hotel and get transferred to the airport for your homebound flight.
