Shahdag – Baku // Absheron Tour (B)

  • Ateshgah Fire Temple – Based on Persian and Indian inscriptions, the temple was used as a Hindu, and Zoroastrian place of worship. “Ātash” (F شت ) is the Persian word for fire. The pentagonal complex, which has a courtyard surrounded by cells for monks and a tetrapillar-altar in the middle, was built during the 17th and 18th centuries. It was abandoned in the late 19th century, probably due to the dwindling of the Indian population in the area. The natural eternal flame went out in 1969, after nearly a century of exploitation of petroleum and gas in the area, but is now lit by gas piped from the nearby city.

  • It is the historical core of Baku, the Old City is the most ancient part of Baku, which is surrounded by walls. In 2007, the Old City had a population of about 3000 people. In December 2000, the Old City of Baku, including the Palace of the Shirvanshahs and Maiden Tower, became the first location in Azerbaijan to be classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Visa Requirements

Please find the below requirements for Azerbaijan eVisa –

1. Clear Passport scan copy with validity of minimum 6 months.
2. Azerbaijan eVisa is based on Passport for eligible nationalities such as Indian, Pakistani, others can check with us.
3. Other nationalities who are not eligible must apply for a visa from the Embassy or Consulate or Visa on arrival.

For Visa on Arrival:

1. Applicants must hold valid UAE residence with minimum validity of 6 months
2. and must be staying continuously in UAE for more than 6 months on UAE
3. residence visa.

Please note: Travelling Azerbaijan by road must carry a 3-month personal Bank Statement with sufficient funds and eVisa is mandatory.

Cancellation Policy

  • Once confirmed, booking fees of AED 1500 will be Non-refundable.
  • Prior to 60 days to 45 days: 50% of the holiday amount is nonrefundable
  • 44 and 30 days of departure: 75% of the holiday cost
  • Less than 29 days prior to departure 100% of the total amount will be deducted.
