Itinerary

Day 01: Bandaranaike International Airport to Kandy (115km – 02 hours 50 minutes approx.)

  • You will be met on arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport by our Walkers Tours representative who will assist you with your luggage and guide you to your vehicle where your personal chauffeur awaits.
  • Transfer from Bandaranaike International Airport to Kandy.
  • En route visit the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. (Entrance Fee Applies)
  • Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage was launched to provide shelter and nourishment to abandoned, injured and maimed elephants. The ideology behind this project revolves around the care of abandoned baby elephants, who cannot survive without their mothers.
  • Commence a city tour of Kandy.
  • Kandy is the charming hill capital of Sri Lanka and the island’s second largest city. At an elevation of 465 meters above sea level, Kandy is located 129 Km North-East of Colombo. Nestling midst low hills, and looped by the Mahaweli river; Kandy is the country’s religious and cultural center and a World Heritage City.
  • Drive up the hill to enjoy breathtaking views of the lake and the surrounding town.
  • Kandy Lake, artificially created by the last king of Kandy, King Sri Wickrama Rajasingha, offers a pleasant walk around its shores.
  • Check into the hotel in Kandy and stay at the hotel.

Day 02: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya (95km – 02 hour 50 minutes approx.)

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Visit the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya. (Entrance Fee Supplement Given)
  • This botanical garden was first built as a pleasure garden by a Sinhala king and was expanded by the British. It is 147 acres in extent and provides an amazing variety of trees, plants and flowers.
  • Visit Ambuluwawa Tower. (Optional – Entrance Fee Applies)
  • The Ambuluwawa Tower is a fascinating multi-religious landmark located in Gampola, Sri Lanka. This iconic structure is a unique symbol of harmony and diversity, featuring a blend of architectural styles representing Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, and Christianity.
  • Leave for Nuwara Eliya.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03: Nuwara Eliya

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Commence a city tour of Nuwara Eliya.
  • Nuwara Eliya is the heart of Sri Lankan hill country, it is the home of the famous Ceylon Tea and the rolling mountains are a carpet of velvety green tea plantations, interspersed with gushing streams and tumbling waterfalls. The salubrious climate, misty glens and the decidedly British character make Nuwara Eliya a must on any Sri Lankan travel industry.
  • Witness the historical landmarks of Nuwara Eliya and absorb its colonial heritage.
  • Stroll around Lake Gregory and take in the serene and calming atmosphere
  • Proceed to the hotel in Nuwara Eliya.
  • Relax and enjoy the cool climate in Nuwara Eliya.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 04: Nuwara Eliya – Bentota (195km – 05 hours approx.)

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • En route visit a Tea Plantation to see how tea is plucked and a Factory to witness the processing of the raw green leaf to the graded product.
  • You’ll also witness all aspects of the tea-making process on a guided tour of a tea factory.
  • Strawberry Farm Visit.
  • Nuwara Eliya’s cool climate makes it ideal for strawberry cultivation. A visit to a local strawberry farm allows guests to see how strawberries are grown, harvested, and even enjoy freshly made strawberry treats such as milkshakes, jams, and desserts. It’s a sweet and refreshing stop perfect for families and nature lovers.
  • Leave for Bentota.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 05: Bentota

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Proceed to Balapitiya for a river cruise. (Optional – Entrance Fee Applies)
  • Balapitiya offers a perfect blend of ecology and culture, where visitors can relax and explore the Madu River’s clear waters, ancient temples like Kotu Duwa, and tunnels of lush mangroves rich in biodiversity. The area, known for its cinnamon plantations and vibrant rural life, also features unique attractions like fish pedicure centers and is a popular spot for bird watchers seeking an exciting offshore experience.
  • Evening relax at the beach.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 07: Bentota- Colombo (85km – 01 hour 30 minutes approx.)

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Leave for Colombo.
  • Commence shopping and a city tour of Colombo.
  • As the vibrant capital of Sri Lanka, Colombo pulsates with the essence of our island, offering a lively mix of cultural, shopping, and dining delights. Central to the city’s charm is the scenic Beira Lake, home to the tranquil Seema Malaka and nearby Gangaramaya Temples, set against the backdrop of Colombo’s modern skyline.
  • Visit Shopping Centers such as Crescat Bouvelard, One Galle Face Mall.
  • Proceed to the hotel in Colombo.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 08: Colombo to Bandaranaike International Airport (35km – 40 minutes approx.)

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Leave for airport in time for flight out of Sri Lanka.

Cancellation Policy

  • Once confirmed, booking fees of AED 1500 will be Non-refundable.
  • Prior to 60 days to 45 days: 50% of the holiday amount is non-refundable
  • 44 and 30 days of departure: 75% of the holiday cost
  • Less than 29 days prior to departure 100% of the total amount will be deducted.

  • In case of unavailability of the hotels mentioned, alternate accommodation will be arranged in a similar category of hotel.
  • You are fully responsible for verifying and obtaining the documents required for your trip and visa.
  • Fix Departure date, no amendment and changes possible.

  • It is the duty of the client to check passport requirements for travel.
